Common designs include flowers, animals, mythological figures, and decorative symbols. The work is usually done with bright, contrasting colors and embellished with mirrors or decorative stitches, making it vibrant and eye-catching. Traditionally, it is used in making canopies, banners, umbrellas, wall hangings, and festival decorations, especially during the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath.
